Rachel Thompson is a qualified 500-hour Yoga Teacher who teaches Hatha Yoga and Slow Vinyasa Flow at the Leschenault Leisure Centre.
With over 25 years of personal yoga practice, Rachel recently followed her passion for sharing the benefits of yoga with others by becoming a teacher. Her classes are grounded in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students can reconnect with themselves through movement, breath, and mindful awareness.
A key aspect of Rachel’s teaching is the exploration of the Chakras and understanding the benefits that balance and alignment can bring to overall wellbeing. She believes yoga is a powerful tool for nurturing both physical and emotional health.
Rachel also brings valuable insight through her volunteer experience within the mental health sector, along with lived experience both personally and as a carer for a family member. These experiences have deepened her understanding of the importance of gentle, accessible practices that support mental and emotional wellbeing.
In addition to regular classes, Rachel offers workshops in Yoga Nidra and Pranayama.
