Kerry is a Western Australian based yoga and meditation teacher. Born in the UK, raised in Australia and probably with a very eclectic ancestry that may very well be linked to gypsies and sea folk (also mermaids). She has also had an eclectic career with experience in health prevention and promotion, mental health, community development and engagement, event coordination and performing arts.
Yoga has been a part of Kerry’s life ever since copying her mum on the lounge room floor and staring endlessly at the beautiful images of yoga practitioners in the single yoga book she had in her house growing up! Now as a yoga teacher, Kerry is honoured to be able to hold space for you in your practice, facilitating inclusive, compassionate and beautiful classes to meet you where you are. She believes yoga is a practice to be shared with a sense of kindness, curiosity and play and brings this energy to every class and workshop.
With a dodgy spine, a body that has endured the wonderful joy (and intensity) of bringing four babies into this world and an insatiable need to DO ALL THE THINGS, Kerry believes yoga can be a great pain reliever and transformative life line back to the self, back to the body, back to the breath and helps us to embrace stillness and rest. Yoga has a place in our lives, on and off the mat.
Kerry has completed Hatha, children and teens and yin yoga teacher trainings.
