Holly Emerson

Immersed in the practice of Hatha and Yin Yoga, I have become more and more aware of how all-consuming our fast-paced world has become.
After working in various fields, I have come to rely on the practice of yoga as a way of calming the mind and de-toxing from the stressors of life. Yoga with its emphasis on conscious movement, integrating breath and meditation, has become a refuge from the ‘Hectic Everyday’.
After completing my 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training, I have been able to combine a decade long love for the practice of Yoga with a newfound knowledge on the philosophy and history of this ancient spiritual Practice. Sharing this deeper side of Yoga with others is an integral part of my teaching practice.
With a focus on the benefit of yoga for improved mental health and an interest in the restorative, therapeutic aspects of the practice, I have worked with people of all ages from children to older members of the community, helping to make Yoga accessible for all.
