Maree

Maree has been practicing yoga since the 1970s, and it has remained a steady and evolving part of her life. She discovered Spring Forest Qigong in the late 1990s, and over the years her practice has grown and changed with her, leading her to explore more embodied approaches such as somatic movement and the slow, meditative practices that Qigong and yoga offer together. What first felt unfamiliar and challenging gradually became deeply grounding, helping her connect more fully with herself and cultivate a greater sense of presence.

Through her journey, Maree has come to understand that working from within the body, rather than trying to change it from the outside, invites a deeper and more sustainable transformation. She believes this is not a quick fix, but a process that unfolds over time through practice, patience, and curiosity. Through observation, awareness, and noticing sensations without judgment, she has discovered a deeper connection between body and mind. In this space, insight arises naturally—those quiet “aha” moments that support healing, growth, and the creation of new neural pathways.
